Job Title: SQL Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced SQL Server professional with strong expertise in database upgrades, high-availability configurations, and cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute database upgrade projects, including migration from legacy versions to latest SQL Server versions.
  • Design, configure, and manage high-availability clusters in production environments.
  • Plan and implement database migrations to AWS (RDS, EC2, or other services) with minimal downtime.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL Server performance (queries, indexes, statistics, execution plans).
  • Perform regular backups, restores, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure database reliability and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including runbooks and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and best practices.
