Finance Associate Job Description

This role is responsible for managing and overseeing the entire process of share transfers, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and legal requirements. The position also involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth transfer processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Share Transfer Management: Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of financial records and books of partners.
  • Partners' Books Maintenance: Prepare and update financial statements for partners, including calculating profit shares.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports: monthly, quarterly, and annual.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to internal control systems, company policies, and applicable laws/regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other finance team members, auditors, and external parties to ensure seamless operations and compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mandatory: CMA qualification (Cost & Management Accountant), fully qualified or in advanced stage.
  • At least 2 years of experience in finance operations, specifically in share transfers and partners' books maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Proficient user of accounting software; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
