Job Title: Financial Planning and Analysis Leader

Job Summary:

The Financial Planning and Analysis Leader will provide subject matter expertise in Financial Planning and Analysis, developing a thorough understanding of State Street's business practices to effectively perform independent, complex reporting or analytics to support the ad-hoc needs of the Expense IC leads business unit Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Responsibilities:

  • Completion of high-quality deliverables within the committed timeframe, including month/quarter/year-end closing, budget and forecast, deep dive analysis and consolidation, expense reviews, and variance analysis.
  • Communication with business units throughout the company to collect information for Expense management reporting and analyses.
  • Work closely with Expense Analytics team members and extended EIC team to provide requested analysis, reports, and metrics.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate preparation of various financial analyses on critical and complex issues.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert, drive project, work streams to enhance processes and reporting.
  • Develop and/or update various financial models to generate analyses.
  • Stay abreast of changes/updates, review and interpret guidance, and apply changes as needed.
  • Prepares reports and presentations packages. Interprets results for management.

Requirements:

  • 5-6 years of experience within Financial Planning and Analysis.
  • MBA/CA or secondary education preferred.
  • Financial service industry experience preferred.
  • Preparation and analysis of Financial Statements and experience in a global setting.
  • Working experience with business unit finance heads across regions.
