Job Title: Senior Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead and manage the geotechnical activities of our large-scale open pit mine operation. The incumbent will be responsible for geotechnical studies, pre-feasibility and feasibility report preparation, stability analysis, simulation modelling, and slope stabilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct geotechnical studies to assess the geological conditions of the mine site.
  • Prepare pre-feasibility and feasibility reports to inform mining operations.
  • Analyze data to ensure mine stability and safety.
  • Develop and implement simulation models to optimize mine design and slope stabilization.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Geological Science or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
