IIB Middleware Developer Role

This key position involves designing, developing, and supporting integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus (IIB).

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and other developers to deliver robust middleware solutions enabling seamless communication between diverse systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop integration flows using IBM Integration Bus (IIB). Analyze complex system interactions to craft efficient message flows that ensure accurate data transmission.
  2. Maintain ESQL, JavaCompute nodes, and other integration components. Troubleshoot issues promptly to maintain system stability.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  4. Resolve middleware-related issues through diligent debugging and testing.
  5. Monitor and optimize the performance of integration solutions for improved efficiency.
  6. Document procedures for effective knowledge sharing.
  7. Stay up-to-date with middleware technologies and tools as needed.
  8. Participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an IIB developer with hands-on expertise in IBM Integration Bus (v9, v10, or later).
  • Strong knowledge of ESQL, Java, and message flow development principles.
  • Experience with WebSphere MQ (MQ Series) and messaging concepts.
  • Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services architectures.
  • Understanding of middleware architecture and integration patterns.
  • Experience with XML, JSON, and related data transformation techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex integration issues efficiently.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills within a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
