Security Validation Engineer Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Security Validation Specialist to lead our team in ensuring the security and integrity of our products.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about security testing, analysis, and validation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, computer networking, and cryptographic operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans, analyzing complex new features, designing and implementing test cases, and investigating and analyzing test results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute thorough test plans based on functional requirements to ensure comprehensive coverage of all aspects.
  • Complex Feature Analysis: Analyze and understand complex new features through detailed documentation review and collaboration with Development and Application teams.
  • Test Case Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and run test cases, including functional, security, fuzz, negative, performance, and stress testing.
  • Test Result Analysis: Investigate and analyze test results in continuous integration environments, identifying potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Debugging: Collaborate closely with the development team to debug issues identified during test cycles and create targeted test plans to ensure system security.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Software Development Background: Strong background as a Software Developer or Software Developer in Test (SDET) with a solid understanding of software development principles.
  • Computer Networking: Solid understanding of computer networking fundamentals, including IP and Telnet protocols.
  • Cryptographic Operations: Experience with cryptographic operations, algorithms, and common security functionalities.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in C, Java, and scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
