Role Description :

We require a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and organizing raw data, interpreting trends and patterns, conducting complex data analysis, and reporting on results.

Detailed Job Responsibilities :

  1. Analyze and organize raw data to create actionable insights
  2. Interpret trends and patterns to identify opportunities for improvement
  3. Conduct complex data analysis and report on results to stakeholders
  4. Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling
  5. Combine raw information from different sources to create a unified view
  6. Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
  7. Identify opportunities for data acquisition and develop strategies to capture them
  8. Develop analytical tools and programs to support business decisions
  9. Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models and increase data accessibility
  10. Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality and ensure accuracy
  11. Write unit/integration tests and contribute to the engineering wiki
  12. Perform data analysis to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in resolution
  13. Work closely with frontend and backend engineers, product managers, and analysts to deliver high-quality results
  14. Define company data assets and design data integrations and quality frameworks
  15. Evaluate open-source and vendor tools for data lineage
  16. Requirements :
  17. Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
  18. Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
  19. Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java and Python)
  20. Hands-on experience with SQL database design
  21. Great numerical and analytical skills
