Job Summary:
The successful candidate will support post-sales engineering for Fire Detection & Security System (CCTV, Access Control & Intrusion Alarm) global projects as per country specific standards. They should have sound knowledge about ELV systems (Fire & Security), be able to work on CAD & Technical documentation preparation, follow processes, maintain required quality standards and ensure timely deliveries to guarantee customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project inputs and specifications to capture scope and understand complete requirements.
- Examine MEP drawings, specification, SOP, and identify equipment related to Fire Detection System & Security systems.
- Prepare and participate in project kick-off / review meetings with technical queries, compliance/deviations log, risk logs, and record minutes of meeting.
- Develop CAD Drawings & Documents based on building standards as per tender specification.
- Produce floor layouts, site layout, Schematic Diagram, Technical Write up, Equipment scheduling, load scheduling, Take-offs, etc.
- Ensure quality assurance, defect-free deliverables, on-time deliveries, and customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate issues promptly, avoiding impact on project delivery schedule; clearly document escalations respecting scope-creep.
- Maintain operational parameters at desired level for assigned projects.
- Verify timesheet compliance regarding entry and review for self and team.
- Provide weekly/monthly customer reporting for project progress.
- Engage actively in organizational employee engagement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/B.Tech degree in Instrumentation/Electrical/Electronics/Electronics & Communication.
- Strong knowledge of Fire Detection System & Security systems.
- Expertise in NFPA/BS 5839/EN/FM & Security Guidelines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.), Blue Beam.
- Familiarity with written and verbal communication.
- Ability to demonstrate good leadership skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
6 to 8 years of relevant experience in ELV System.
Estimated Salary:$90,000 - $110,000 per year
