Job Description:

Tarlton Technologies seeks a seasoned professional to develop and scale enterprise-level websites, leveraging expertise in WordPress development. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and strategists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement custom WordPress themes, plugins, and templates for large-scale web applications.
  • Develop dynamic content structures using Gutenberg, Kadence, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
  • Manage large-scale content uploads, data migrations, and integrations for seamless performance.
  • Optimize websites for speed, security, and SEO best practices.
  • Collaborate with designers to implement responsive user-focused layouts.
  • Troubleshoot and continuously improve site performance through iterative testing and optimization.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in large-scale WordPress development with a strong portfolio of achievements.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
  • Expertise in Gutenberg, Kadence, and ACF, with the ability to adapt to emerging technologies.
  • Solid foundation in SEO and website performance optimization, ensuring high rankings and conversions.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git preferred), facilitating seamless collaboration and code management.
  • Familiarity with WP Engine hosting, AWS, and Cloudflare, with a focus on scalable infrastructure and security.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent real-world experience), demonstrating a solid understanding of software development principles.
