System Manager Job Opportunity

Nouryon is seeking a highly skilled IT Ariba System Manager to support strategic change and enhance core applications for the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Application, change, and project management responsibilities
  • Incident management: ensuring systems are operational by applying a controlled process of registering, monitoring, and resolving application-related tickets
  • Monitoring overall performance of applications and maintaining the integrity of production environments
  • Maintaining applications according to service level agreements and regional business needs
  • Operationalizing priority setting as agreed with the business
  • Functioning as the first escalation point for 3rd party vendors and user communities
Technical Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in SAP Ariba and related technologies
  • Experience with IT standards like ITIL, COBIT, CMM
  • Certification in system maintenance, configuration, or customizing
Business Process Knowledge:
  • Awareness and knowledge of business processes related to standard packages or specific developments
  • Builds strong relationships and has overall knowledge of IM/IT and service level agreements
Personal Characteristics:
  • Drives for efficient results, customer focus, and ownership of incidents and problems
  • Team worker with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, proactive, enthusiastic attitude, self-motivated
