Job Title: Subject Matter Expert; Language

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review items for large-scale assessments and surveys administered to 10 million+ learners.
  • Develop tools for holistic progress mapping, multidisciplinary teaching practices, and holistic assessments.
  • Lead the development of Holistic Progress Cards for Preparatory and Secondary Stage by PARAKH.
  • Deliver capacity-building workshops to 1000+ educators to implement evidence-centered teaching and assessment practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge of psychometrics, educational measurement, and large-scale educational testing programs
  • Ability to frame problems and propose solutions to problems faced in establishing PARAKH
  • Experience in designing and leading research studies, including overseeing the work of Psychometricians
  • Consulting expertise on psychometric and data issues related to conducting large scale assessment programs
  • Statistical and analytical skills, with ability to complete plans and review results for reasonableness and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to prepare reports and present project study results
  • Representative experience as a Subject Matter Expert or similar role in education
