Pricing Specialist Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Pricing Specialist to drive pricing strategy across multiple engagement models. This role requires strong financial modeling skills, effective collaboration with Sales & Delivery teams, and a deep understanding of IT services deal structures.

This position demands strong expertise in deal pricing, financial modeling, margin analysis, and scenario planning. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing global/multi-geo deals and supporting commercial models that balance client competitiveness with profitability objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and maintain pricing models & cost sheets, ensuring compliance with internal approval processes.
  • Partner with Sales, Solutioning, and Delivery teams to design commercial models that balance client competitiveness with profitability objectives.
  • Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess risks, margins, and financial impact of large deals.
  • Track and publish win–loss analysis for submitted deals to identify pricing trends and improvement areas.
  • Support preparation and review of business unit Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Deliver monthly profitability reports, highlighting key variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Provide financial insights on market benchmarks, competitor pricing, and industry trends to strengthen pricing strategy.
  • Contribute to corporate finance initiatives, automation of pricing models, and governance processes.

Requirements:

  • MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution is mandatory.
  • 3–6 years of experience in deal pricing / business finance / Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) roles within IT services organizations is mandatory.
  • Experience supporting global/multi-geo deals is an added advantage.
