Data Engineer - CDC Implementations

As a Data Engineer specializing in Change Data Capture (CDC) implementations, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and implementing real-time data synchronization solutions using Debezium and Oracle technologies. Your expertise will be invaluable in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting CDC pipelines that meet the business requirements of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead CDC Implementations: Design and implement CDC solutions using Debezium, Oracle, and other related tools to ensure minimal latency and efficient data replication.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth technical knowledge and hands-on expertise in CDC technologies, database replication, and real-time data synchronization.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and troubleshoot CDC solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Performance Tuning & Optimization: Monitor and optimize CDC pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Lead efforts to identify and resolve issues related to CDC processes, including debugging and resolving replication errors.
  • Best Practices & Standards: Establish and enforce best practices and standards for the implementation of CDC technologies.
  • Documentation: Provide thorough documentation and knowledge sharing to ensure smooth onboarding and training for new team members.
