Design Visionary

We're seeking a talented freelancer to join our team as a Design Visionary. This role involves creating visually appealing and engaging content for social media platforms.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing for consumer brands or media, with a strong portfolio of Instagram-first work. Proficiency in Figma and Adobe CC is a must, along with basic knowledge of After Effects/Premiere for motion graphics.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines. Fluency in English is required, with working knowledge of Hinglish tone for culturally relevant posts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Concept Development: Translate content briefs into clear visual narratives, data visuals, and memes that are easy to grasp and fun to share.
  • Design Execution: Create daily social content, including Instagram carousels, reels covers, short video graphics, YouTube thumbnails, story templates, creatives, and WhatsApp broadcast art.
  • Visual System Management: Maintain and evolve our visual system, ensuring consistency across all platforms by maintaining social brand guidelines, typography, color, iconography, and illustration style.
  • Data-Informed Design: Use performance metrics (shares, saves, CTR, watch time) to inform design decisions and implement rapid A/B tests.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on campaign objectives and timelines.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on social design experience for consumer brands or media.
  • Portfolio: Strong portfolio of Instagram-first work (carousels, thumbnails, short-form graphics, data illustrations).
  • Skills: Proficiency in Figma and Adobe CC, basic After Effects/Premiere for motion graphics, and comfort with data visualization.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with working knowledge of Hinglish tone for culturally relevant posts.

  • WhatsApp Campaigns: Experience designing for WhatsApp campaigns and YouTube (thumbnails that drive CTR).
  • Ai Tools: Knowledge of AI/automation tools to speed up workflows.
  • Illustration: Basic illustration skills (simple, on-brand characters/icons).
