Design Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join our team.

  • We require a mechanical design engineer with 6+ years of experience preferably in Fire products design.
  • Must have at least 6 years of experience in product design.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating concepts, mechanisms, coordinating prototypes, FOT approvals, and production process awareness.
  • Component lifecycle management exposure is essential.
  • Proficiency in injection molding design, sheet metal designs, and castings is required.
  • Good knowledge of plastic material selection criteria and application knowledge is necessary.
  • Hands-on expertise in 3D modeling using Solidworks or Creo is essential.
  • FEM simulation experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of static simulations.
  • Good knowledge and practical experience in GD&T applications is required.
  • Process knowledge of ECN/ECR and SAP PDM is essential.
  • Experience in pneumatics and fluid dynamics is preferred.
  • Strong foundation in first principles and fundamentals is crucial.
  • Mold and tooling design knowledge is a plus.
