Job Purpose
As a Research Analyst for Institutional Equities, you will be responsible for managing research analysis for BFSI sectors in Finance/ CA / MBA/ CFA (US) with added years of experience in covering Indian companies.
- Developing and updating financial models, including building projections and carrying out valuations using appropriate methodologies
- Preparing detailed/brief/update research reports on sector/stocks, thematic/sectoral research pieces
- Providing periodic updates on any developments impacting the stock or sector under coverage
- Interacting with Institutional buy-side clients/funds
- Initiating corporate access: management meetings, channel check visits, road shows & investor conferences
- Receiving recognition/appreciation by clients and/or external agencies like AsiaMoney
Functional Competencies
We are looking for an individual who can conduct research for investment banking deals-related work within compliance firewalls, utilizing Bloomberg Knowledge. An understanding of Excel Macros would be an added advantage. You should be capable of covering stocks in Indian BFSI and have proficiency in valuation tools. Additionally, you should be able to write reports independently and have a strong connection with servicing funds.
Behavioural Competencies
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication (both oral & written) and interpersonal skills. They should be willing to take initiative and work in an entrepreneurial fashion.
