Healthcare Infrastructure Design Leader

The job holder will be responsible for overseeing the design function across all healthcare infrastructure projects. This involves leading and managing a team of architects, interior designers, draftsmen, 3D artists, MEP professionals, and others to deliver innovative and high-quality healthcare infrastructure designs.

The job holder will lead the end-to-end design process from concept, master planning, and schematic design through to execution. They will design and implement policies and processes to ensure design excellence, efficiency, and adherence to timelines and budgets.

The job holder will monitor and assess team performance to ensure effective collaboration, productivity, and consistent design quality across all functions. They will ensure that all design work meets client requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance, particularly for healthcare infrastructure.

The job holder will oversee the creation of comprehensive design documentation, including blueprints, technical drawings, and 3D models. They will collaborate with sales, project management, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of design concepts during the execution phase.

The job holder will manage client relationships by effectively communicating design progress, addressing feedback, and ensuring client satisfaction. They will continuously evaluate design trends, materials, and technologies to improve the quality and efficiency of design solutions.

The job holder will monitor project performance from design inception to completion, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work within the set scope, time, and budget. They will conduct periodic reviews and quality assurance checks on design deliverables to ensure consistency and excellence.

The job holder will provide leadership, mentorship, and training to the design team, fostering professional development and skill enhancement. They will collaborate with senior management, clients, investors, and regulatory authorities to align project objectives, timelines, and design deliverables.

The job holder will present architectural concepts, project progress, and design milestones to both internal and external stakeholders. They will manage client feedback and resolve conflicts in a structured and professional manner, fostering constructive face-to-face interactions.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture is required. The job holder must have 8+ years of experience in design leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior role managing diverse design teams.

The job holder must have in-depth experience in commercial infrastructure design, with an added advantage of experience in healthcare design. A strong portfolio of successfully completed commercial infrastructure projects is also required.

The job holder must have proven ability to manage design teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential.

The job holder must be able to work cross-functionally with other departments, such as project management, sales, and business teams. Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and healthcare-specific design standards is also required.
