Cloud Application Security Specialist

The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of cloud-based security solutions, protecting applications against various threats and vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust security systems for cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Develop secure coding practices and conduct code reviews to identify potential security issues.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development life cycle.
  • Analyze and report on security threats and vulnerabilities, providing recommendations for remediation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance overall security posture.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in cloud application security, focusing on architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing security systems, including authentication, authorization, and access control.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards, such as NIST and OWASP.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with security tools and technologies, such as IAM, Cloud Security Groups, and CloudWatch.
  • Knowledge of programming languages, including Java, Python, and Spark.
  • Understanding of mobile app security, including login flows and code vulnerabilities.
