Job Description:

Cybersecurity assessments are critical to ensuring the safety and security of medical devices. As a cybersecurity professional, you will play a vital role in monitoring and assessing cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents affecting released medical devices.

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and impact analyses in alignment with FDA, ISO/IEC 81001-5-1, and NIST cybersecurity frameworks to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop and deploy security patches and updates to ensure the continuous improvement of post-market surveillance processes for cybersecurity.
  • Lead post-market security investigations and coordinate vulnerability response and remediation activities to minimize the impact of security incidents.
  • Engage with external researchers and coordinate responsible disclosure processes to ensure that security vulnerabilities are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain and improve post-market surveillance processes for cybersecurity to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support regulatory submissions and audits related to post-market cybersecurity to ensure the organization's security controls and compliance are up-to-date.
  • Contribute to security incident response planning and execution to ensure that security incidents are handled promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and implement effective cybersecurity strategies and plans to ensure the organization's cybersecurity posture is continuously improved.
