Accountant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Accountant in our organization. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing or food industry environment and a strong academic background.

The selected individual will be responsible for the day-to-day management of financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance while contributing to strategic financial planning. This includes:

  • Financial Reporting & Management: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss accounts.\
  • Bookkeeping & Record-Keeping: Manage daily accounting activities, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded in software.\
  • Accounts Management: Efficiently handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections.\
  • Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure strict compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Assist in internal and external audits by preparing and providing necessary documentation.\
  • Taxation: Manage and ensure timely filing of tax returns.\
  • Financial Analysis: Support management by assisting with budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to aid in business decisions.\

      • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a higher qualification.\
      • Academic Excellence: A strong academic record, with a minimum of 85% or equivalent.\
      • Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience as an accountant, specifically within the manufacturing or food industry.\
      • Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of accounting software.\

This is a full-time position requiring a daily commute to our office. The selected candidate is expected to have their own laptop for work purposes. Candidates with an immediate or short notice period will be given preference.
