Technical Project Manager Job Description

  • 10+ years of experience in the role of managing and implementing high-end software products.
  • Expertise in EDW/SQL or Hadoop/Hive/Spark and preferably hands-on.
  • Good knowledge of any Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a must.
  • Managed, delivered, and implemented complex projects dealing with considerable data size (TB/PB) and high complexity.
  • Experience in handling migration projects is good to have.
  • Data Ingestion, Processing, and Orchestration knowledge is essential.

Required Skills & Qualifications

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of technical projects. This is a multi-dimensional and multi-functional role that requires you to be comfortable reporting program status to executives, as well as diving deep into technical discussions with internal engineering teams and external partners.

  • Collaborate with colleagues in business development, product management, analytics, marketing, engineering, and partner organizations.
  • Manage multiple projects and ensure all releases are on time.
  • Responsible for managing and delivering the technical solution to support an organization's vision and strategic direction.
  • Deliver the technical solution to support an organization's vision and strategic direction.
  • Capable of working with different types of customers and possessing good customer handling skills.
  • Experience in working in ODC model and capable of presenting Technical Design and Architecture to Senior Technical stakeholders.
  • Should have experience in defining project and delivery plan for each assignment.
  • Capable of doing resource allocations as per requirements for each assignment.
