Data Annotation Specialist

About this role:

As a data annotation specialist, you will watch short robotic task videos and identify the main objective of the robot's task as well as the smaller steps it takes.

  • Day-to-day tasks involve watching videos in full before annotating, summarizing what happened, noting whether the task succeeded, partially succeeded, or failed, providing timestamped annotations, and reviewing and refining annotations based on feedback to improve accuracy and clarity.

Key responsibilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines are essential.
  • You must have clear written communication skills in English.
  • Comfort with repetitive, precision-focused work is required.
  • Ability to differentiate between successful, partial, and failed task execution is crucial.

Success criteria:

  • You will be delivering consistent, accurate annotations across tasks.
  • Capturing both the 'what' (intent and actions) and the 'how' (quality of execution) of robot tasks is key.
  • Your contributions will contribute to a gold-standard dataset that supports robotics and AI training.
