We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to take full ownership of designing and managing the backend architecture for a scalable web application.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a robust backend system from planning to deployment.
  • Develop secure user authentication and authorization systems.
  • Implement logic, discovery algorithms, and preference-based filters for improved user experience.
  • Build a real-time messaging system using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) with push notifications.
  • Optimize MongoDB schema for high-performance matchmaking and chat use cases.
  • Ensure secure API access and handle media uploads securely via cloud storage.
  • Implement analytics hooks for key user actions and behavior tracking.
  • Maintain and monitor API performance, database health, error logs, and uptime metrics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience in backend development with Node.js, Firebase, and MongoDB.
  • Strong understanding of token-based authentication and security practices.
  • Experience building scalable, real-time chat or messaging systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud storage and services.
  • Solid knowledge of CI/CD, monitoring, and application scaling.
