Lead Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to spearhead the development and scaling of our SMS and WhatsApp API platforms.

This is a hands-on role that involves coding, solving complex technical challenges, and working closely with the founder to drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and scale high-performance APIs and distributed systems.
  • Leverage expertise in PHP/MySQL, Node.js, Go, and Python to build scalable and secure systems.
  • Architect and manage databases for optimal performance and security.
  • Ensure 99.9% uptime and cost optimization of infrastructure.
  • Mentor and lead a team of engineers to achieve project goals.
  • Collaborate on roadmap planning, new feature implementation, and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
  • 6–8 years of experience in backend/API-heavy systems.
  • Strong coding skills in multiple programming languages.
  • Experience with high-scale messaging, API security, queues, and load balancing.
  • Prior leadership experience in a startup environment preferred.
  • Able to code, architect, and lead effectively.
