Job Title: Associate Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Associate Director.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of Indian GAAP and a working understanding of differences between Indian GAAP and Ind AS.
  • They will work closely with senior management to build strong client relationships and establish professional networks.
  • The Associate Director will apply relevant accounting standards independently, execute Ind AS engagements while researching complex technical accounting issues.
  • Key responsibilities include developing strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate at all levels within an organization and Assurance Committee Meetings.
  • They will drive meetings with senior management, utilizing leadership skills to achieve team objectives.
  • The ideal candidate will embody BDO values and spread positive work culture, teamwork.
  • Proven supervision and coaching skills, ability to delegate, possess technical skills, motivate engagement teams, and manage multiple engagements.
  • Work under stringent deadlines and demanding client conditions.
  • Assist in identifying companies for pitching/ideation and preparing pitches for new mandates.
  • Stay up-to-date on new developments in the profession, business, industry, and regulatory environment.
Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge of Indian GAAP.
  • Working understanding of differences between Indian GAAP and Ind AS.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership skills to achieve team objectives.
  • BDO values and ability to spread positive work culture, teamwork.
  • Supervision and coaching skills, ability to delegate, possess technical skills, motivate engagement teams, and manage multiple engagements.
