Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing web applications and APIs using the latest technologies.

Our ideal candidate has over 7 years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails and is proficient in either Sidekiq or Shoryuken. They should also have solid knowledge in React and Typescript, demonstrating their ability to work with modern frontend technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing web applications and APIs
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting web applications and APIs
  • Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby/Rails code
  • Integrating with data storage solutions
  • Creating services using microservices architecture
  • Dockerizing the application/service
  • Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs
  • Integrating user-facing elements designed by the front-end team
  • Connecting applications with other internal or third-party systems

Requirements:

  • BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Over 7 years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails
  • Proficiency in either Sidekiq or Shoryuken
  • Solid knowledge in React and Typescript
  • Familiarity with AWS, specifically SQS (Simple Queue Service)
  • Willingness to work in EST hours
