Global Application Security Architect

Job Summary:
At Riverforest Connections Private Limited, we are seeking an experienced Application Security Architect to join our Global Delivery team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing IT risk assessment reviews, identifying control gaps, and collaborating with subject matter experts to devise mitigation plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute IT risk assessment reviews to identify control gaps and collaborate with subject matter experts to devise mitigation plans.
• Identify key risk trends, issues, and other insights requiring further investigation and follow up with Technology as appropriate.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of Secure Development methodologies and frameworks.
• Conduct penetration testing and utilize tools like AppScan, Webinspect, Fortify, AppSpider, BurpSuite, and Qualys.
• Conduct Security Review Assessments and provide recommendations.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of OWASP and SANS standards.
• Engage with organization-wide risk and control groups, including internal audit and territory control teams.
• Collaborate with Technology stakeholders to identify IT risks affecting the organization and formulate remediation strategies based on a full understanding of business exposure and compensating controls.
Requirements:
• Excellent understanding of development security and its implementation in systems, including identification, authentication, access control, and provisioning alignment with business processes.
• Knowledge of single sign-on security strategies, such as SAML, OAUTH2, and SiteMinder.
• Excellent understanding of authentication-related mechanisms, including Kerberos, One Time Passwords, and PKI.
• Good understanding of cryptography and its practical uses within secure application development.
• Familiarity with common security vulnerabilities, such as OWASP Top 10.
• Strong technical skills to understand vulnerabilities in detail and resolve/mitigate them.
• Excellent knowledge of programming best practices, design patterns, and problem-solving skills to develop approaches to complex technology and strategy problems.
• Excellent written communication skills to summarize key issues, conclusions, and recommendations in report form for regulatory authorities and internal/external auditors.
