Job Title: RSA - Application Security Engineer

Job Summary:

RSA is seeking an experienced Application Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure software development practices, identifying and mitigating security risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and integrity of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure software development practices to ensure the security and integrity of our applications.
  • Identify and mitigate security risks through penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and threat modeling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security teams, to ensure the security and integrity of our applications.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and recommend new security solutions and technologies to the team.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in application security, with a focus on penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and threat modeling.
  • Experience with cloud security, including cloud-native application architecture, 12 factor(SaaS)(SaaS), containers, and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of security principles, including secure coding practices, secure design, and secure testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks.

Desired Skills:

  • CISSP, CCSP, or CSSLP certification.
  • Experience with cloud security platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Experience with containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with DevOps tools, including Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
