We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our team.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and experience with ServiceNow platform architecture, modules, and functionalities. They will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying new applications and enhancements to existing solutions using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participate in creating new IT solutions and enhancements to existing solutions from requirement to launch as part of a cross-functional team.
- Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, sustain, and document software changes for new applications, enhancements, and defects.
- Implement ServiceNow solutions based on business requirements.
- Perform analysis, design, and implementation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards.
- Engage with global teams to effectively translate customer requirements to software requirements and identify potential solutions.
- Customize and configure ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms, and scripts to meet business needs.
- Develop integrations between ServiceNow and other systems ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
- Design and implement ServiceNow UI policies, data policies, and access controls to ensure data integrity and security.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor/masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a proven track record of successful project implementations.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, modules, and functionalities.
- Hands-on experience in configuring Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, Access Control Lists, complex workflows, and solution migration.
- Experience in developing ServiceNow integrations using APIs, web services, and data imports/exports.
- Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes.
- Must have experience in Service Now Custom Development.
- Sound knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals data structures, algorithms, operating system concepts.
- Excellent analytical skills, methodical problem-solving skills, and troubleshooting skills.
- ServiceNow certifications are preferred.
