Job Description

We are seeking a skilled developer to design, build and maintain intelligent solutions that automate workflows, integrate with Microsoft 365 and external systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software applications using the latest technologies; integrate with Microsoft 365 apps and approved knowledge sources.
  • Build secure, scalable and supportable solutions (Apps/Automate/Pages) with custom connectors to REST APIs and external services.
  • Implement API/webhook interactions to orchestrate cross-system processes; instrument and tune performance.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver iterative value; document patterns for reuse and handover.

Success Outcomes (First 90 Days)

  • Develop 2–3 software applications that integrate with Teams/Outlook/SharePoint and a defined knowledge base, with simple performance/usage telemetry.
  • Stand up core workflow automation flows and custom connectors to key REST APIs; document patterns for reuse.
  • Demonstrate API/webhook payload scripting in a productionised workflow.
  • Confirm alignment to AI governance and IT policies (incl. ISO27001 considerations).

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • Microsoft development platform: designs and deploys software applications; understands integration with Teams/Outlook/SharePoint; knows performance metrics.
  • Software development expertise: hands-on application development, workflow automation; builds custom connectors; integrates REST APIs/Azure services into solutions.
  • Scripting for integrations: able to write scripts that send payloads via API calls/webhooks.
  • Business partnering: translates business requirements into scalable software solutions; collaborates across functions; problem-solves and optimises flows.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications (preferred): software development certifications or demonstrable title/track record.
  • Ways of working within our company's AI governance and acceptable use framework.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Azure AI/OpenAI Services & Azure AI Foundry SDK for model-backed applications; familiarity with responsible AI principles.
  • Programming exposure (Python, JavaScript, or C#) and Microsoft Graph API for deeper extensions.
