Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Windows/VMware engineer to support our large Windows server fleet. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with cloud technologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to articulate complex topics to stakeholders.

  • Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows servers 2012, 2016, and 2019
  • Patching Windows Servers using SCCM
  • Upgrading operating systems to Windows Server 2019
  • Hands-on experience in setting up, configuring, managing SCCM, Active Directory, vSphere, IIS, SMTP, SFTP, FTP, and Server Hardware
  • Automating processes through scripting using Python and PowerShell
  • Configuring and troubleshooting DNS/DHCP/WSUS/SCCM/AV GPOs
  • Supporting day-to-day operational issues and runtime operations
  • Handling deployment issues with Ansible pertaining to windows servers
  • Vulnerability management – Zero-day ad-hoc vulnerabilities, domain controllers
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • College degree in a technical field or equivalent industry-related experience
  • AWS certification is an added plus
  • MICROSOFT certification is an added plus
  • VMware certification is an added plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
