We are on a mission to uplift 270 million people in India by providing them with the tools, resources, and opportunities to move UpAndUp in Life. As a UX Design intern, you will play a key role in piloting our app and future products, currently focused on private security guards in the Private Security Industry.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Design Thinking: Learn and watch in brainstorming and design thinking sprints.
  2. Research: Assist in field studies, usability testing, user interviews, and documentation of insights.
  3. UI + Visuals: Contribute to wireframes, UI screens, icons, and prototypes in Figma.
  4. Prototyping: Support in creating low-to-mid fidelity prototypes; learn to refine interactions and transitions.
  5. Testing & Iteration: Observe and conduct basic usability tests, prepare feedback reports, and iterate on designs.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, developers, and outreach team in turning insights into features.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about problem-solving and UX Design, have good communication skills in English and Hindi, and are open to fieldwork and talking to real users. Mandatory Skills:
  • A graduate degree in Design or any other field with an industry-recognized certification in UX Design.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in UX Design.
  • A portfolio showcasing coursework, side projects, case studies, and self-initiated projects.
  • Proficiency in design software: Figma, Miro.
  • Familiarity with presentation, video-editing, word processing, spreadsheets, and AI tools.

Preferred Skills include proficiency in multiple Indian languages, experience working with communities, and tinkering with AI tools for research and design.
