Senior QA Engineer Role Overview\

A successful Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for driving test automation initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the highest quality software delivery.

  • Participate in release and QA activities planning
  • Define the scope of work and prioritize tasks independently
  • Design, develop, maintain, and improve test cases and test plans according to specified requirements
  • Report test results and defects
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues in software
  • Develop and maintain automated tests
  • Analyze test results and configure testing environments
  • Design and enhance automation frameworks
  • Participate in team meetings and adhere to established project workflows
\Key Responsibilities:\
  • Lead test automation initiatives, including designing and developing test cases and test plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth software delivery
  • Identify and prioritize areas for test automation and improvement
  • Develop and maintain automated tests using industry-leading tools
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues
\Requirements:\
  • Minimum of 5 years in test automation and functional testing, including practical experience in automation
  • Ability to work independently as a sole automation engineer on a project
  • Proficiency in test planning, test case management tools, bug tracking systems, and software development life cycle
  • Strong collaboration skills with product owners and developers
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
  • Proficiency with testing tools such as TeamCity, Cucumber, WebdriverIO, and experience coding in JavaScript
  • Familiarity with Agile software development lifecycle and QA role within it
