About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing day-to-day financial activities, ensuring timely reporting, and maintaining compliance with statutory requirements.

The role involves overseeing daily accounting operations, including journal entries and ledger maintenance. You will also be responsible for ensuring timely month-end and year-end closing, as well as managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.

In addition, you will prepare and file GST returns, handle TDS/TCS compliance and return filings, and assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Operations: Manage daily accounting operations, including journal entries and ledger maintenance, ensure timely month-end and year-end closing, and oversee AP and AR functions.
  • Taxation & Compliance: Prepare and file GST returns, handle TDS/TCS compliance and return filings, and assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax assessments.
  • Financial Reporting & Budgeting: Prepare monthly MIS reports, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets, develop monthly budgets, and ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Banking & Treasury: Reconcile bank accounts, manage banking transactions, process payroll disbursements, vendor payments, and statutory dues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Accounting Principles: In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Zoho Books, Microsoft Navision, and Zoho Payroll, strong Excel skills, analytical thinking, and high attention to detail.
  • Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance), prior experience in mid-to-large organizations or a CA firm.
Experience & Skills
  • Experience: 4–8 years for MBA (Finance) graduates, 1–2 years for qualified Chartered Accountants (CA).
  • Skillset: Proactive, self-starter with a strong work ethic, well-organized, and able to work independently, great attention to detail.
