Job Title: Excel Data Migration Specialist

As an experienced Data Migration Specialist, you will be responsible for leading data migration projects by extracting, transforming, and loading data from legacy systems to new platforms. You will use advanced Excel functions, formulas, and macros for data validation, cleansing, and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead data migration projects by extracting, transforming, and loading data from legacy systems to new platforms.
  • Use advanced Excel functions, formulas, and macros for data validation, cleansing, and transformation.
  • Develop and execute QA test plans to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with business and accounting rules after migration.
  • Communicate testing results and recommendations effectively to stakeholders and team members.
  • Collaborate with team members including developers, analysts, business users, and accounting staff to define and implement migration strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VBA macros).
  • Solid background in QA testing, including writing test cases, performing functional testing, and data validation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong mathematical skills for data calculations and validation.
  • Experience with data migration tools and processes is a plus.
