Job Title: Assistant Payroll Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee payroll operations for a workforce of 3,000 employees. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Dayforce and working knowledge of Workday. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure accurate payroll processing, compliance with regulations, and continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 3,000 employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments.
  • Utilize Dayforce as the primary payroll system while leveraging Workday for integration and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations.
  • Handle payroll audits, tax filings, reconciliations, and statutory deductions.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Compliance teams to streamline payroll processes.
  • Address payroll discrepancies, employee queries, and resolve any payroll-related issues promptly.
  • Drive process improvements and automation to enhance payroll efficiency.
  • Maintain and generate payroll reports for management and audit purposes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a large organization.
  • Must-have experience with Dayforce for payroll processing.
  • Working knowledge of Workday for payroll-related operations.
  • Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
