Job Description

We are seeking an experienced financial professional to join our team as a Cost Analyst.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.

  • To provide key inputs and verify that the details, estimates, and assumptions contained within project reports are accurate and reviewed by competent individuals.
  • Coordinates with various teams to ensure that all necessary inputs into project approvals are made, reviewed, and documented.
  • To identify variable components contained within project reports, which could have a significant detrimental impact on project outcomes, through comprehensive risk analysis and sensitivity analysis.
  • To prepare memorandums for approval outlining the scope of a new project, capital investment requirements, and potential financial returns.
  • Review and modify contract terms from a financial perspective and discuss with other departments if required.
  • Establish KPIs for tracking progress compared to approved assumptions and set up regular review meetings with management to monitor project performance.
  • Collect and analyze financial information related to site financial performance, seeking ways to improve financials and decrease costs.
  • Transform complex financial data into digestible insights, enabling better comprehension and more informed decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:

  • Professionally qualified Cost Accountant/Chartered Accountant with considerable post-qualification experience.

Experience:

  • 5 to 8 years of progressively increased management experience, preferably in a manufacturing-related services environment.
  • Excellent English language skills, written and spoken.
