Senior Backend Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using PHP, CodeIgniter, Python, MySQL, and JavaScript.

About the Role:
  • This is a senior-level position that requires expertise in backend development, architecture, and system design.
  • You will lead projects from conceptualization to deployment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using PHP, CodeIgniter, and Python.
  • Database Management: Optimize and manage MySQL databases to ensure data integrity, security, and performance.
  • API Integration: Develop RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend services and other backend systems.
  • Code Review and Testing: Conduct thorough code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaboration and Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on coding standards, best practices, and technical documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on PHP, CodeIgniter, and Python.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax and frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong understanding of database management, API design, and system architecture.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
