About the Job:

Makse Group is seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Specialist to join our team in Dallas-Fort Worth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all day-to-day accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement financial systems and processes, including General Ledger, billing, T&E, and AP procurement.
  • Support month-end financial close process, ensuring accurate revenue and expense recording, balance sheet, and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain Company's general ledger and sub-ledger accounts, including journal entries for fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, and intercompany adjustments.
  • Prepare financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows.
  • Support timely and accurate payroll processing, book journal entries, and coordinate with Accounting Manager.
  • Research technical accounting issues to ensure company compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Comply with government reports and tax requirements, including monthly and annual sales tax filings.
  • Collaborate with external auditors on year-end financial statement audit and statutory audits.
  • Support liaison with Banks, Auditors, Vendors, and other External Parties.
  • Assist with FP&A processes, budgeting, and cash flow projections, tax planning, ad hoc special projects, and business analytics.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant and/or CPA (USA); Diploma in IFRS with a university degree in Commerce.
  • Knowledge of Indian GAAP required; exposure to US GAAP preferred.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills required.
  • Extensive understanding of Income tax Act, GST, Companies Act 2013, FEMA, Labour Laws, and statutory legal requirements.
  • Strong understanding of treasury and forex principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and communicate effectively.
  • Experience in Zoho Books preferred.
