Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager/Accounting Specialist. This role will be responsible for providing support to the Accounting department in producing accurate and timely financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and record detailed AP, AR and other general accounting transactions
  • Review and account AP & corporate expense reports
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation
  • Assist with tax filings
  • Support revenue recognition and refunds
  • Review monthly Income Statement and explain monthly fluctuations for P&L accounts
  • Process weekly check run for vendor payments
  • Record W-9/W-8 information for vendors and new vendor information into NetSuite
Requirements:
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of advanced accounting platforms such as NetSuite
  • Advanced cloud-based reporting, AR and AP system expertise
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with changing deadlines and responsibilities
  • Must be detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multitask
  • Highly organized, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
  • 3-5 years accounting experience
  • Hands-on experience in month-end and year-end close processes, account reconciliations, and financial audits
