The position of Chef De Partie is available in our organization.
Job Description:Chef De Partie is a key member of our culinary team responsible for preparing special meals and substituting items. They will regulate the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters to ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:- Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator, ensuring that it is ready for cooking when needed.
- Maintain proper portion sizes, arrangement, and food garnish to create visually appealing dishes.
- Monitor the quality and quantity of food prepared, making adjustments as necessary to meet customer demands.
- Communicate with colleagues during busy periods to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Inform the head chef of excess food items for use in daily specials, minimizing waste and maximizing revenue.
- Inform food and beverage service staff of menu specials and out-of-stock menu items to enhance customer experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of related work experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- No supervisory experience is required, but a willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities is essential.
