Job Title: Data Security Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Security Expert to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization's data by identifying threats and risks.

You will lead detection engineering activities and provide technical guidance on data security projects. This role requires a proactive and collaborative leader who can effectively work with various stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Threat Identification: Collaborate with cybersecurity program leads to identify internal and external threats to data security.
  2. Risk Assessment: Identify internal risks based on potential weaknesses in business processes and technologies.
  3. Detection Engineering: Lead and conduct detection engineering activities to address evolving risks and a changing asset landscape.
  4. Alert Triage: Triage data security alerts and coordinate investigations with internal and external stakeholders.

You will act as a subject matter expert for senior stakeholders and other team members. Your strong technical leadership and advice on topics such as DLP (Data Loss Prevention), Insider Risk, and Encryption will be invaluable in data security projects.

Required Skills:
  • Data Security Principles: Strong knowledge of data security principles, threats, and risks.
  • Detection Engineering Experience: Experience in detection engineering and incident investigation.
  • Data Security Technologies: Expertise in data security technologies such as DLP, Insider Risk, and Encryption.
  • Technical Leadership: Ability to act as a subject matter expert and provide technical leadership.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
