Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive cybersecurity function that monitors, identifies, and mitigates threats to the organization's systems and data.
  • Create and implement incident response plans, encompassing timely detection, containment, eradication, and recovery from security breaches or data loss events.

Data Security & Protection:

  • Implement and enforce policies and controls to safeguard sensitive information and organizational data from unauthorized access, misuse, or exfiltration.
  • Employ advanced anti-fraud and anomaly detection systems to prevent financial losses and preserve client trust.

Cybersecurity Architecture & Engineering:

  • Lead the selection and implementation of secure IT infrastructure and architecture, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain a robust and scalable security framework that supports the organization's digital transformation initiatives and ensures the security of its expanding digital footprint.

Identity & Access Management (IAM):

  • Design and implement an effective Identity and Access Management framework to ensure only authorized personnel have appropriate access to sensitive data and systems based on least privilege principles.
  • Enforce strong authentication mechanisms to minimize risks associated with compromised credentials.

Investigations & Forensics:

  • Lead and oversee investigations into security incidents and data breaches, determining root causes and collaborating with internal and external parties as necessary.
  • Conduct forensic analysis to recover and analyze digital evidence, supporting legal proceedings and regulatory reporting when needed.

Governance & Compliance:

  • Establish and maintain a robust governance framework aligning with the organization's objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Ensure continuous compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to data protection, privacy, and financial operations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in relevant fields with a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Prior experience in handling Cybersecurity Operations Management, Cyber Risk & Intelligence, Data Protection & Fraud Prevention, Security Architecture, Identity & Access Management, Digital Forensics & Incident Investigation, Governance & Compliance is essential.
  • Familiarity with RBI regulations related to security is highly desirable.
  • Cyber Security Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CISM are valuable additions.
