Information Security Governance Specialist

Seeking a highly motivated professional to serve as an expert on information and cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance services and solutions.
This role involves executing security assessments of on-premise/cloud IT environments aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will conduct testing and validation of IT security controls, documenting findings and preparing detailed reports. Additionally, they will manage and perform internal audits as per the directives of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), contributing to risk posture improvements and presenting metrics to the CISO on a regular basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute security assessments and testing of on-premise/cloud IT environments.
- Conduct thorough documentation and reporting of security findings.
- Manage and perform internal audits in line with the CISO's directives.
- Apply knowledge of digital data protection laws and regulations.
- Utilize and manage Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools and platforms.
- Drive third-party risk management initiatives.
- Deliver complex GRC projects in dynamic environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technology field.
- Mandatory certification: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
- Additional certifications preferred: ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK), Public Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Total experience: 6-10 years with proven exposure to both IT and GRC functions.
- Experience in internal audits, consulting, and cybersecurity risk advisory.
- Deep understanding of information security principles and compliance frameworks.
- Strong understanding of IT topology and application development principles.
- Hands-on experience with security tools.
- Strong exposure to IT/cybersecurity standards.
- Excellent communication skills, documentation abilities, and stakeholder engagement.
