About the Role: We are seeking an experienced L2 Network & Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our network operations, you will play a vital role in maintaining and securing our infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain LANs, WANs, and network segments with utmost care and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with equipment vendors for troubleshooting and configuration standardization.
  • Configure firewalls to ensure security and optimal performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with LAN switching technologies, including VLANs, RSTP, ACLs, and Virtual Chassis.
  • Develop network capacity planning strategies to meet business needs.
  • Implement proactive maintenance for disaster recovery.
  • Monitor networks for security, reliability, and availability.

Key Skills Required:

  • 3-6 Yrs. of overall IT experience with a strong foundation in networking.
  • Proficient in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting FortiGate and Palo-Alto firewalls.
  • Skilled in handling Cisco, Juniper, and Huawei switches.
  • Familiarity with Aruba, Cisco controllers and access points.
  • Experience with AWS and Zscaler Private Access.
  • Strong knowledge of various network protocols and ports.
  • Familiarity with IPSec, SSL VPN, IDS, and IPS.
  • Prior experience in routing and switching.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
