Human Resources Assistant Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Assistant to join our team at Hellowork Technologies Pvt Ltd. As an HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Providing clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives
  2. Compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies)
  3. Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
  4. Monthly Salary of employees and service team with the help of software
  5. Monitoring the attendance, leave records of service team including all sites
  6. Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes
  7. Office administration work inclusive of handling housekeeping contractors, other maintenance contractors as & when required, distribution and monitoring work of office assistance, small purchases like stationary, office consumables, pantry requirements.
  8. Travelling arrangements for office staff and visiting guests.
  9. Coordination with service providers like land line, Mobile, data providers and certifying their bills.
  10. Organizing annual day function, annual picnics and such other welfare activities.
  11. Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
  12. Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
  13. Communicate with public services when necessary
  14. Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
  15. Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
  16. Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
  17. Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database
  18. Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
  19. Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular)
  20. Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS
  21. Familiarity with ATS software and resume databases
  22. Basic knowledge of labor laws
  23. Excellent organizational skills
  24. Strong communications skills
  25. Degree in Human Resources or related field
