Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned software professional to lead our development team. This exciting opportunity involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using Java, Perl, and XSL technologies.

The ideal candidate will utilize AccuRev for version control, software configuration management, and collaboration. They will create and maintain XSL stylesheets for transforming XML data.

Candidates must collaborate with team members to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement software features. Troubleshooting and debugging software issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability is also essential.

Participating in code reviews, testing, and documentation efforts is crucial to the success of this role.

Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of proven work experience as a Java/Perl Developer with expertise in XSL.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Perl, XSL, and AccuRev.
  • Experience with AccuRev for version control and software configuration management.
  • Knowledge of XSL transformations and XML technologies.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Java, Perl, or XSL technologies.
  • Certification in DevOps will be an added advantage.
  • Experience with other version control systems like Git or Subversion.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
