Job Title: Data Engineer - Compliance Reporting Specialist

Position Overview:

As a Data Engineer for Compliance Reporting, you will develop comprehensive and accurate compliance reports for investors, state entities, CFPB, and internal stakeholders, focusing on the mortgage domain. This role requires a strong data engineering background with expertise in data visualization and reporting tools, particularly Domo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of regulatory reporting requirements for investors, state agencies, CFPB, and internal stakeholders within the mortgage industry.
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into reporting systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Design efficient, effective, and accurate queries for compliance reporting using SQL, Snowflake, or similar query languages.
  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Domo, providing stakeholders with clear and insightful visualizations of compliance data.
  • Collaborate with the omnichannel team to understand reporting needs, gather requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the reporting process, implementing data validation and quality control measures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining compliance reporting systems within the mortgage or financial services industry.
  • Strong SQL skills are essential, with experience in query optimization and data warehousing concepts.
  • Expertise in Domo or similar business intelligence tools (Cognos, Tableau, Power BI, SSRS) for data visualization and report creation.
  • Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices for data management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Location: India (Remote)
