We partner with state and central governments to design, implement, and assess evidence-based policies in areas such as district-led development, ease of doing business, export-led manufacturing, data systems strengthening, and impact assessments.

Job Overview

We are inviting applications for a Senior Research Associate role based in Bhopal. The successful candidate will be involved in close engagement with state government institutions to support policy research, data analysis, and economic strategy design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct applied research on economic growth, statistics, and public policy issues.
  • Analyse large datasets and apply econometric/statistical techniques for policy insights.
  • Draft policy briefs, reports, and presentations for decision-makers.
  • Engage with government officials, industry leaders, and academic stakeholders.
  • Support project design, proposal development, research project management and internal capability building.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Masters degree or higher in Economics, Statistics, or related fields from a reputable institution.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in policy research, data analysis, consulting, or academia.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and econometrics (Stata/R/Python).
