Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring computer networks for security issues, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities. You will investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents, documenting findings and assessing damage. You will also install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Monitoring: Monitor computer networks for security issues, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Incident Response: Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents, documenting findings and assessing damage.
  • Security Measures: Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
  • Penetration Testing: Implement penetration testing along with ethical hacking to identify weaknesses in network defenses.
  • Compliance: Determine compliance through user accounts, application usage, system file, and outside scans to maintain a high level of security.
  • Research and Development: Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management to strengthen the organization's overall security posture.

Requirements:

  • English Proficiency: Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in information security or a related field.
  • Vulnerability Management: Vulnerability Management full cycle.
  • Compliance Management: Developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance with security baselines.
  • Security Patch Management: Security patch management full cycle for OS, databases, and applications.
  • Security Incident Management: Security incident management full cycle.
  • Certifications: Hands-on experience with ISO 27001.
  • Skills: Experience of Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Penetration Testing: Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
  • Firewall Management: Understanding of firewalls, proxies, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), antivirus, and Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS) concepts.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per year.
